Gerdesmeyer Krohn in the showroom of ‘Objekte unserer Tage’ in Berlin Kreuzberg: In collaboration with OUT, we have the opportunity to open a small showroom in Berlin. Here, in the OUT space in Berlin, we are showing a minimalist kitchen that represents the common understanding of space, material and function at the intersection of both brands.
The handleless tall units made of anodised aluminium have a clear and minimalist look. All fronts can be opened by push to open. The oven can also be easily opened and closed using a touch display.
The pocket cupboard contains an oiled oak coffee bar - with an integrated drawer for coffee grounds. A pull-out shelf with locking mechanism is available for kitchen appliances - a functional solution for discreetly storing appliances in the cupboard and still having them to hand at all times.
The kitchen island in pink lacquered oak creates a cosy accent and offers generous storage space. Drawers and cutlery inserts pick up on this material - for a consistent overall look and design down to the last detail.
The open-plan layout - divided by transparent curtains, the furniture on display and a finely tuned lighting concept create an inviting atmosphere - perfect for cooking, working and presenting.
