Together with our partner V-ZUG, we designed and realized a minimal kitchen for and with Jan Köppen.
The space follows a calm architectural language with midcentury influences: Oiled oak, ceramic, natural stone, warm textiles, and custom-made framed wooden fronts create a clear and warm atmosphere.
Special attention was given to the layout, the functional requirements, and carefully crafted details such as the hidden door integrated into the tall cabinet, leading to the pantry. The combination of warm wooden surfaces and monolithic stone elements creates a calm and welcoming appearance.
The large room functions as an open living kitchen with an integrated seating area and café-like atmosphere, as well as a spacious dining area with direct access to the surrounding nature.
The high-quality appliances by V-ZUG blend naturally into the concept and underline the focus on precise design and everyday functionality.
