Feinripp und Gold, Cologne

For our friends from Feinripp und Gold, we were asked to design their first restaurant after having some events together in our office. In keeping with the high-quality sandwiches, the design of the restaurant should also reflect the quality and create a coherent overall concept.

The property is characterized by two large window fronts. These elements are connected by a rounded element, which also forms the entrance. Parallel to the exterior frontage, the show kitchen and bar were planned inside to form the center of the store. The rounded counter with suspended ceiling construction separates the area between the kitchen and the dining room, but still offers enough insight into the preparation of the sandwiches. The counter is clad in a corrugated aluminium sheet, the ceiling construction has integrated LED lighting and also serves as storage space for organization in the kitchen area.

The seating is arranged along the windows and offers enough space for small and large groups.
The colors and materials used, such as Corian, oak, powder-coated sheet steel, aluminum and textiles, have been coordinated to create a bright, inviting coziness.
